The EU expresses its full solidarity with its partners in the region, in particular the Republic of Korea and Japan. The DPRK must cease such illegal actions that risk raising tensions on the Korean Peninsula, comply with its international obligations, and re-engage in a meaningful diplomatic process, which remains the only path to sustainable peace and security. إن إطلاق الصواريخ الباليستية من قبل جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية في 3 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر يشكل انتهاكا جديدا لقرارات مجلس الأمن للأمم المتحدة ويهدد الأمن الإقليمي والدولي.
تعرب الاتحاد الأوروبي عن تضامنها الكامل مع شركائها في المنطقة، وخاصة جمهورية كوريا واليابان.
وتسعى جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية إلى إنهاء هذه الإجراءات غير القانونية التي قد تؤدي إلى تفاقم التوترات في شبه الجزيرة الكورية، مع احترام التزاماتها الدولية وتنفيذ عملية دبلوماسية بناءة، مما يبقي وحدها على السلام والأمن الدائمين.
