On 15 April 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the State of Qatar attended the 74th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Doha (ACD), chaired by the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to the State of Qatar, H.E. Mr. Nguyen Huy Hiep, marking the commencement of Viet Nam’s 2026 chairmanship.
On 15 April 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the State of Qatar attended the 74th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Doha (ACD), chaired by the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to the State of Qatar, H.E. Mr. Nguyen Huy Hiep, marking the commencement of Viet Nam’s 2026 chairmanship.
The meeting discussed the adoption of the ASEAN Committee in Doha’s 2026 activity plan, the strengthening of coordination among ASEAN member missions in Doha, as well as the expansion of ASEAN’s engagement with the State of Qatar through a series of joint activities in cultural, social, and development fields.
Through this meeting, ASEAN in Doha continues to reaffirm its commitment to strengthening solidarity, enhancing coordination, and expanding horizons of cooperation.
