On October 9, 2025, the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the State of Qatar, Mr. Ahmet Halilović, paid an inaugural visit to the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of the State of Qatar, Mr. Ghanem bin Shaheen bin Ghanem Al Ghanim, at the headquarters of the Ministry.
Minister Al Ghanim welcomed Ambassador Halilović and recalled the successful cooperation so far with the Riyaset of the Islamic Community of BiH, the Faculty of Islamic Sciences of UNSA and other relevant institutions in BiH, especially through support for the organization of Arabic language courses and the reconstruction of religious buildings in returnee communities in BiH.
Ambassador Halilović thanked for the support so far and expressed readiness for further strengthening of cooperation
The meeting was also attended by Ms. Ivana Pejović, Counselor at the Embassy of BiH, and Mr. Khaled Shaheen Al Ghanim, Director of the Department for Islamic Affairs.
