The EU expresses its full solidarity with its partners in the region, in particular the Republic of Korea and Japan. The DPRK must cease such illegal actions that risk raising tensions on the Korean Peninsula, comply with its international obligations, and re-engage in a meaningful diplomatic process, which remains the only path to sustainable peace and security.
