Honduras formally inaugurated its embassy in Doha on 19 May 2025, according to Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The opening ceremony was attended by Honduran Foreign Minister Eduardo Enrique Reina and Qatari Foreign Ministry Secretary-General Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi.
Diplomatic mission representatives and officials also attended the event. The inauguration represents the establishment of an embassy presence in Qatar, and should be distinguished from other political meetings held with Honduran officials on the same date.
