Qatar organised a consultative meeting with Canada and Mexico at United Nations headquarters in New York on 10 June 2025, in the context of a working group on Narratives for Peace linked to the international conference on the Palestinian question and the two-state solution.
Qatar was represented by its permanent representative to the United Nations, Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani. The discussion explored ways to support messaging conducive to peace and a negotiated settlement. It was a consultative working-group meeting, not an announcement that a peace agreement had been reached.
