Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi held separate telephone discussions with Paraguayan Foreign Minister Rubén Ramírez Lezcano and Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev on 2 March 2026.
According to Qatar's Foreign Ministry, the calls examined regional military escalation and the impact of reported Iranian missile attacks on Qatar's sovereignty. Al Muraikhi urged a return to dialogue, while the two counterparts condemned the reported attacks. No new treaty or diplomatic appointment was announced.
