Qatar, Jordan and the United Kingdom co-hosted a Call to Action meeting on Gaza's humanitarian situation in New York on 25 September 2026, alongside the 81st United Nations General Assembly. Qatar was represented by Minister of State at the Foreign Ministry Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi.
The Qatari minister called for safe and sustained humanitarian access, protection of health workers and support for shelter, water and sanitation as winter approached. He outlined Qatar's relief work and reported a further agreement with the United Nations for fuel deliveries to support essential services.
