Qatar condemned attacks it attributed to Iran against Bahrain and Kuwait in a Foreign Ministry statement dated 8 July 2026. The ministry said the incidents threatened the sovereignty of the two Gulf countries.
Doha urged a return to dialogue and diplomacy and efforts to preserve progress under a previously reported memorandum of understanding. The statement reaffirmed solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait and did not announce a new agreement or any verified military assessment.
