On the eve of the Chinese New Year, February 16th, several of Qatar’s iconic landmarks were illuminated with a festive “Happy Chinese New Year” light show.

The facade of the National Museum of Qatar, the Museum of Islamic Art, the Sheraton Grand Doha, Al Wahda Arch, the Aspire Tower, and Place Vendome Mall lit up with vibrant displays featuring messages such as “Auspicious Year of the Horse” and “Happy Chinese New Year.”

Bathed in brilliant shades of Chinese red, the landmarks paid tribute to the Chinese New Year, creating a warm and celebratory atmosphere that drew large crowds of residents and visitors to stop, admire, and capture the spectacle.
