The Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the State of Qatar visited the Qatar Tourism Authority, where he was received by the Head of the Tourism Development Sector, Mr. Omar Al Jaber.
During the meeting, the strengthening of cooperation in the field of tourism, promotion of tourist destinations and increasing the number of visitors between the two countries were discussed. Mr. Al Jaber expressed a positive opinion about Bosnia and Herzegovina as an attractive destination for Qatari citizens, while the Ambassador highlighted the growing interest of Qatari tourists, especially during the summer months.
The Ambassador stressed the importance of establishing a year-round direct Qatar Airways flight between Doha and Sarajevo, which would further contribute to the development of tourism exchange during the winter period. He also pointed to Doha's potential as a transit destination for passengers from Bosnia and Herzegovina traveling to countries in the Far East, Africa and Australia.
