Qatar's Permanent Representative to UN Meets Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs New York, October 30 , 2026 HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani met with HE United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo in New York. During the meeting, HE the Permanent Representative reaffirmed the State of Qatar's commitment to working closely with the UN and international partners to support global efforts to achieve stability in Afghanistan. QatarEnergy to Purchase 3 MTPA of US LNG from Woodside Energy

Doha, October 29 (QNA) - QatarEnergy announced that it entered into a long-term Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with Woodside Energy (LA) Investments LLC (Woodside Energy) for the purchase of 3 million tons per annum (MTPA) of LNG from the Louisiana LNG project, located along the United States Gulf Coast, and currently under construction.Read article
