Belgium's House of Representatives President Peter De Roover met Qatari Foreign Ministry adviser and spokesperson Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari in Brussels on 21 May 2025.
The officials discussed bilateral cooperation and regional developments involving Gaza, the Palestinian territories, Syria and the Russia–Ukraine conflict, according to Qatar's ministry. Qatar's ambassador to Belgium, Khalid bin Fahad Al Hajri, attended the meeting. The parliamentary engagement was distinct from Al Ansari's discussions at the Belgian Foreign Ministry that day.
