Qatar and Switzerland held a second round of foreign-ministry political consultations in Doha on 8 December 2025. Qatar's delegation was led by European Affairs Director Fahad bin Mohammed Kafoud, and Switzerland's delegation by senior official Monika Schmutz Kirgöz.
The discussions assessed relations and opportunities to develop cooperation in areas of mutual interest, according to Qatar's Foreign Ministry. The meeting was part of an existing political dialogue, and the notice did not announce any newly signed agreement or diplomatic appointment.
