Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi met Belgian Ambassador William Asselborn in Doha on 29 July 2025 on the conclusion of the ambassador's term.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry said Al Muraikhi expressed appreciation for Asselborn's work strengthening bilateral relations and wished him success in future assignments. The farewell records the conclusion of this envoy's service and should not be mistaken for the later reception of a new ambassador's credentials.
