Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met Ethiopian State Minister for Political and Economic Diplomacy Hadera Abera Admassu in Doha on 19 May 2026, according to Qatar's Foreign Ministry.
The meeting reviewed bilateral cooperation and ways to strengthen relations, together with topics of common interest. It preceded a separate round of Qatar–Ethiopia political consultations at the foreign-ministry level the following day.
